SCI-Novi secretary and past president, Jon Gray, was recently presented the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) Partners in Conservation Award and the 2018 Michigan United Conservation Clubs Educator of the Year Award.
Since 2010, Gray has raised $90,000 through the SCI-Novi chapter to offer scholarships to educators to attend the DNR’s Academy of Natural Resources where educators learn about Michigan’s natural resources, trends in resource management and experience activities that bring knowledge to the classroom.
