SCI Members Urged To Comment On Proposed Regulations Expanding Hunting Opportunities On National Wildlife Refuges

Jun 06, 2018

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) is seeking public comments on its proposed rules to expand hunting opportunities on National Wildlife Refuges.  SCI strongly urges its members to comment on specific refuge proposals.

Below is a list, by state, of the refuges and the proposed changes. While all comments can be helpful, comments that address specific refuges and/or specific hunting opportunities play the strongest role in helping the Service develop these rules.

SCI encourages members to select a refuge from the list and comment in support of the proposed change for that refuge.  In particular, if members have experience hunting on one of the refuges listed below, or are more likely to hunt there due to the proposed change, please make that a focus of comments.
